“An Idiom’s Guide to Health Insurance” campaign lifts Accuro profile with humour, clear benefits

Challenge

Accuro – NZ’s best little health insurer – needed to move the brand dial and entice new customers.

The big players had all the market share, and Accuro needed to put up a fight.

How could Accuro stand out amid the relatively vanilla, yet crowded, insurance landscape?

We worked with Accuro to create a visually humorous brand campaign, coupled with a clear outlining of Accuro’s singular offering and core benefits.

Solution

We targeted undecided people who were on the fence, or up in the air, or wishy washy about which health insurer to go with. Thus, ‘An Idioms Guide to Health Insurance’ was born.

Taking our beloved Kiwi-isms and manifesting them literally was the perfect way to establish a unique tone of voice while communicating Accuro’s benefits. The ads’ simple yet funny style accessed a new audience and found a new love for our favourite little health insurer.
