OUR WORK
– CHAMPIONS INITIATIVE
– CHAMPIONS
Creating brighter futures for rangatahi across Aotearoa
We had some serious fun creating the new brand identity for our friends at the Champions Initiative. Adding to our longstanding relationship with the Billy Graham Youth Foundation, we were honoured to help reimagine their brand as they step into the future.
Our job – create something impactful, meaningful, and unmissable. Fortunately, crafting the impactful, meaningful, and unmissable is what we do best. We held several wānanga with the Champions’ leadership team, coaches, and students to reflect on where they’d been, and how their past would influence the future. Collaborating with the Champions team, our endgame was to craft a story that resonates on every level.
We knew that the Tūi would best inspire our story. Carrying strength, stamina, and resilience as its song to be heard across Aotearoa. We worked with the multi-talented Paegan Edmonds-Topia (Champions Initiative academy manager and Tā Moko artist) to bring it to life. From the korokoro representing rangatahi voices to the tuara, illustrating stability and foundation, every element works together to embody the Champions Initiative and its community.
Creating the new identity also enabled us to unpack and explore a new direction for the organisation. Establishing a clear channel for programme delivery across Aotearoa. From national body to community partners, the pathway is set. Tailor-made to guide rangatahi on their journey of growth and self-realisation.
We’re humbled to have this piece of work under our belt. And we’re so excited to watch as this new adventure unfolds. Want to learn more? Head across to their brand-new website to check out the new look and feel!
